Medical information and emergency contacts can be added to the Personal Safety app and displayed from the lock screen. That means first responders can quickly access key details such as allergies, medications, blood type, and contact names without unlocking the device.
Emergency SOS brings several actions together in one place, including contacting emergency services, sharing location, and recording video. Users can also choose how the feature is triggered, making it easier to activate in a fast-moving situation.
Wireless emergency alerts, Crisis alerts, and Earthquake alerts help Pixel owners receive official notifications about severe weather, local emergencies, and seismic activity in supported regions.
Car Crash Detection uses motion, location, and audio signals to identify a serious collision and can automatically contact help if the user does not respond.
Pixel phones also support a lock screen message, which can display a secondary contact or important health note, and Satellite SOS on supported models, allowing emergency communication even when cellular coverage is unavailable.
