ServiceNow Partners with Anthropic to Enhance AI Capabilities

ServiceNow has partnered with Anthropic to integrate advanced AI models into its platform, enhancing user experience and workflow capabilities for enterprises.

ServiceNow has recently forged a partnership with Anthropic, a prominent player in the artificial intelligence sector, just a week after announcing a collaboration with OpenAI. This multi-year agreement aims to integrate Anthropic's advanced AI models into ServiceNow's platform, enhancing the experience for its users.

The collaboration will see Anthropic's Claude model family become the primary AI models utilized across ServiceNow's AI-driven workflow products. Furthermore, Claude will serve as the foundational model for the ServiceNow Build Agent, a tool enabling developers to design agentic workflows and applications.

In addition to benefiting customers, this partnership will also extend Claude's capabilities to ServiceNow's workforce of 29,000 employees, with Claude Code, Anthropic's coding solution, being made available to the company's engineers.

Bill McDermott, the chairman and CEO of ServiceNow, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, "ServiceNow with Anthropic is turning intelligence into action through AI-native workflows for the world's largest enterprises. Together, we are proving that deeply integrated platforms with an open ecosystem are how the future is built."

This announcement follows closely behind ServiceNow's recent alliance with OpenAI, which aims to provide customers access to OpenAI's models through ServiceNow's offerings.

Amit Zavery, president, COO, and CPO of ServiceNow, shared insights into the company's strategic approach, emphasizing a multi-model strategy that caters to the diverse needs of enterprise clients. "We don't view these partnerships as competitive or mutually exclusive," Zavery noted. "Enterprise customers want model choice. They want the right model for the right job -- keeping governance, security, and auditability consistent on the ServiceNow AI Platform."

This agreement marks yet another significant milestone for Anthropic, which has recently secured several substantial enterprise partnerships, further solidifying its position in the AI landscape.
