Samsung has offered a first look at its upcoming smart glasses, unveiled at its London Unpacked event and developed with Warby Parker, Gentle Monster, and Google. The new wearable is designed to combine style with hands-free digital assistance.
What the glasses will offer
The device is expected to focus on audio, AI, and camera features rather than a built-in display. Samsung says the glasses will run on Google's Android XR platform and use Gemini Live for AI support. They will also be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon AR 1 Gen 1 chip and connect with Galaxy Watches through Wear OS.
Battery life is listed at up to nine hours per charge, with the carrying case providing seven additional full charges. A front camera, privacy LED, and dual open-ear speakers are also part of the package.
Designed for everyday use
Samsung highlighted several practical scenarios, including saving whiteboard notes to Samsung Notes, placing restaurant reservations, ordering coffee, and capturing photos or video directly from the frame.
The glasses are set to arrive this fall in multiple fashion-forward styles from Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. Pricing and exact launch timing have not yet been announced.
With its mix of wearable design and Google-powered intelligence, Samsung is positioning smart glasses as a more natural part of daily digital life, pointing toward a future where technology feels even more seamless and personal.
