Samsung's premium HW-Q990F soundbar is seeing a major price cut on Amazon, where the 2025 model is now listed at $999.99 -- a 50% drop from its original price and its lowest level so far.
The system keeps the same broad footprint as the previous generation, but introduces a refreshed design and a redesigned subwoofer with exposed dual drivers for a cleaner, more contemporary look. Built for immersive home entertainment, it supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, and Samsung's Eclipsa Audio format.
With an 11.1.4-channel setup and rear speakers included, the soundbar is designed to create a wide, layered audio field. Four up-firing drivers help deliver convincing height effects, while settings for EQ, voice, and height channels make it easier to adapt the sound to different rooms.
Connectivity is equally flexible, with HDMI 2.1 passthrough, eARC, optical input, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay 2 support. Samsung TV owners can also take advantage of wireless Dolby Atmos on compatible newer models, reducing cable clutter and simplifying setup.
For home theaters, gaming spaces, and living rooms built around premium audio, this discount places one of Samsung's most advanced soundbars within easier reach. As immersive audio continues to evolve, products like this may help define the next generation of connected home entertainment.
