Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 Pre-Order Window Closes Today

Samsung's newest premium smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2, is drawing attention with a launch offer that runs until tonight, Aug. 6. The pre-order price is set at $699.99, and buyers receive a $100 Amazon gift card before shipping begins on Aug. 7.

Introduced at Samsung's July Unpacked event, the watch arrives with a larger 800mAh battery, designed to deliver up to 60 hours with the display always on and around three days in lighter-use modes. Samsung also emphasizes a lighter build, improved comfort, and stronger outdoor readiness.

On the hardware side, the Ultra2 includes dual-frequency GPS, trail-run tracking with elevation data, hydration guidance, a titanium case, 10ATM water resistance, IP69K durability, and EN13319 dive certification. It also adds NB-NTN satellite connectivity, enabling messaging and calls even when cellular coverage is unavailable.

The 47mm model features a 5,000-nit AMOLED display, a notable brightness upgrade over the previous generation, and runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear Elite chip, built to support AI-focused tasks. Samsung has also refined the design, making the watch thinner while keeping its rugged profile intact.

For users who want a high-end wearable built for outdoor activity, long battery life, and advanced connectivity, the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 stands out as one of Samsung's most ambitious smartwatch updates. Its arrival points to a future where wearables become even more independent, durable, and intelligent.
