Riverside is broadening its creator toolkit with a new newsletter publishing feature that lets users turn podcasts and videos into written updates directly inside the app. Rather than competing head-on with established newsletter services, the platform is focusing on helping creators repurpose content they already produce.
The new workflow includes an AI assistant that can transform a finished recording into a newsletter draft, while also allowing users to write and send newsletters from scratch. The idea is simple: convert spoken ideas into polished, audience-ready content with less manual effort.
Riverside founder and CEO Nadav Keyson says the advantage lies in the nature of creator content itself. Since many users already record information-rich conversations, the platform aims to make that material easier to distribute in multiple formats without switching tools.
Alongside publishing, Riverside is upgrading its recording suite with support for multi-camera setups and remote guests. It is also adding AI tools that can generate first drafts immediately after recording, suggest social media hooks, and enhance video quality by improving lighting, depth, and sharpness.
With more than $60 million in funding, Riverside is positioning itself in a fast-moving market where media tools are increasingly merging recording, editing, and publishing. The shift reflects a broader trend toward all-in-one creator platforms, where content can move from conversation to publication in a single workflow. This evolution could shape a more seamless future for digital storytelling.
