Neura Robotics, a pioneering German robotics startup, has announced a strategic partnership with Qualcomm, a leader in semiconductor technology, aimed at revolutionizing the field of robotics and physical AI. Neura Robotics plans to leverage Qualcomm's Dragonwing Robotics IQ10 processors, which were introduced at CES earlier this year. Additionally, Neura will utilize its Neuraverse robotic simulation and training platform, launched in June 2025, to refine and optimize the performance of robots powered by Qualcomm's processors. For instance, Boston Dynamics recently partnered with Google DeepMind to accelerate the development of its Atlas humanoid robot through Google's AI technologies.

Although Neura and Boston Dynamics are focusing on different technological aspects--AI models versus hardware--the underlying principle remains the same. Collaborations enable robotics companies to better integrate advanced technologies into their products, rather than merely relying on tech vendors.

For Neura, this partnership facilitates the development and testing of robots specifically tailored to Qualcomm's chips, while Qualcomm gains valuable insights into how its processors can be utilized in robotics.
