Google's new Pixel 11 lineup arrives with a familiar design language, but a much bigger focus on Gemini and AI-driven convenience. Rather than major hardware shifts, the company is leaning into software that works quietly in the background and helps users get more done with less effort.
Gemini becomes the main upgrade
The Pixel 11 family adds a set of agentic AI tools designed to handle everyday tasks. In the U.S., Gemini can help users arrange grocery orders, book rides, request coffee, or even contact businesses for reservations and appointments. Google says users can step in, pause, or review transcripts whenever they want.
The updated Magic Cue feature now draws context from across apps to suggest useful options, such as places to eat or things to do. Google's dictation tool, Rambler, is also moving onto Pixel phones, while live translation expands to videos, podcasts, and voice messages.
Accessibility gains are part of the update too. Gemini can translate sign language into text through the camera, and the live transcribe interface has been redesigned for smoother communication.
Camera and creator tools expand
On the imaging side, Google introduces Magic Capture, which scans a burst of frames and selects the best moments automatically, then crops and sharpens them for sharing. Pro models also gain faster low-light capture with Instant Night Sight, plus improved video support with 8K recording and stronger stabilization.
For creators, a new video mode turns Pixel 11 devices into a teleprompter during filming, and saved clips are organized into a dedicated folder for easier editing. The Pro models also get a brighter display and upgraded camera sensors, including a telephoto system that lets in more light.
New chip, new pricing
All models run on Google's Tensor G6 chip, which the company says improves power efficiency and browsing speed while supporting faster AI processing. The lineup starts at 256GB of storage, with prices beginning at $899 for the Pixel 11, $1,099 for the Pixel 11 Pro, and $1,299 for the Pixel 11 Pro XL.
Google is also launching new Pixelsnap cases and ring stand colors alongside the phones. The Pixel 11 series suggests a future where smartphones feel less like tools and more like intelligent companions built around everyday flow.
