Berlin-based startup Passionfroot has closed a $15 million Series A round led by Insight Partners to accelerate the growth of its marketplace for B2B creators and brands. The company is now preparing a stronger push into the United States, with founder and CEO Jen Phan relocating to New York as a new office opens there.
The platform is designed to help companies work with creators who specialize in business, technology, and professional topics. According to the company, this model is gaining momentum as AI-driven products multiply and brands look for clearer ways to build trust, visibility, and audience recall.
Passionfroot also plans to expand in São Paulo while growing its team beyond the current 15 employees. Over the past year, the startup says its revenue increased 13-fold and that it has added customers including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer, and Gamma.
Alongside its marketplace, the company has developed Zest, an AI agent that helps brands plan, run, and track campaigns. Passionfroot says the tool can also surface creators that fit a company's marketing goals, both on and off the platform. Its system includes a proprietary creator graph built from campaign reach and performance data, plus a global payment wallet for managing creator payouts.
The startup says it has paid at least $10 million to creators in the last 18 months. It is also working on tools that help brands understand how campaigns influence AI citations and how they appear in AI-generated answers, while exploring new AI features for creators such as monetization guidance and content ideas. This shift points to a future where creator platforms become smarter, more global, and more integrated with AI-powered marketing.
