Neko Health, the health-tech company co-founded by Spotify's Daniel Ek and Hjalmar Nilsonne, has closed a $700 million Series C round as it prepares for a broader international rollout.
The financing was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and O.G. Venture Partners, following the company's $260 million Series B in early 2025. Backers in the latest round also include Atomico, General Catalyst, Lakestar, Liberty City Ventures, Positive Sum, and BDT & MSD.
The startup combines proprietary body-scanning systems with blood tests to create detailed health assessments. Its service now also includes body composition insights for fitness-focused users, while integration with Apple Health helps clinicians work with real-world personal data.
Neko Health currently operates in the UK and Sweden and is preparing to open its first U.S. location in New York. The company says more than 100,000 people have already completed scans, while over 350,000 have joined its waitlist or booked appointments.
As preventive health tools become more data-driven, Neko Health's expansion points to a future where personalized screening may become a more common part of everyday wellness.
