The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is set to launch the 12th edition of NADA New York, an annual art fair dedicated to showcasing galleries that are at the forefront of contemporary art. Scheduled from May 13 to 17, 2026, the event will take place at the iconic Starrett-Lehigh Building in West Chelsea.

This year's fair will unite over 121 galleries, art spaces, and non-profit organizations from 15 countries and 46 cities, including Tbilisi, Tokyo, Mexico City, and Philadelphia. Among the participants are 45 NADA Members and 51 first-time exhibitors, such as Brigitte Mulholland from Paris, The Address from Brescia, FORGOTTEN LANDS from Christiansted, Central Server Works from Los Angeles, and Post Times from New York.

A highlight of the event will be the return of the TD Curated Spotlight, a flagship initiative designed to enhance accessibility for participating galleries and artists. This initiative is organized by Anthony Elms, the Artistic Director at the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh. Additionally, the NADA Presents program will feature a series of conversations, performances, and events throughout the weekend.

Heather Hubbs, NADA's Executive Director, expressed enthusiasm about the fair, stating, "NADA New York continues to be one of the most exciting platforms for discovery during New York's art week. This year's edition returning to the Starrett-Lehigh reflects that spirit. We're proud to present a community of galleries engaged in some of today's most compelling work."

Notable solo presentations will include works from Malcolm McCormick at Afternoon Projects in Vancouver, Jonathan Torres at EMBAJADA in San Juan, Effie Wanyi Li at FOUNDRY SEOUL in Seoul, Xiaoyi Gao at Gene Gallery in Shanghai, Keiko Narahashi at Tappeto Volante Projects in New York, Margaret R. Thompson at Red Arrow in Nashville, and Kyla Kegler at Rivalry Projects in Buffalo. Highlights from NADA Projects will feature artists like Yuki Nagashima at AKIINOUE in Tokyo, Eric Oglander at KDR in Miami, Kay Seohyung Lee at Yiwei Gallery in Los Angeles, and Eric Rannestad at Chilli in London.

NADA New York represents the organization's dedication to the city, recognized as a cultural hub and the home of its headquarters and exhibition space. Earlier this March, NADA hosted NADA Ceramics, a curated showcase featuring the works of over 40 artists and galleries at The Locker Room in Tribeca. The organization will also present the 24th edition of NADA Miami in December.

As the art world evolves, events like NADA New York play a crucial role in fostering connections and showcasing innovative artistic expressions, paving the way for future artistic endeavors.
