Meta has unveiled Muse Charm, a compact wearable designed to offer quick access to its personal AI agent, Muse. Revealed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg during the company's Connect event, the device aims to make voice-based AI interaction more immediate and portable.
A keychain-sized AI experience
The palm-sized device can be carried in a pocket or attached to a keychain. Its small display features Jolly, Muse's digital avatar, creating a playful and character-driven interface reminiscent of classic pocket companions.
Users can activate Muse through a fingerprint sensor, allowing them to speak with the AI without unlocking a smartphone or opening an app. Meta says the device integrates real-time voice interaction and an animated avatar system into a compact form factor.
Designed for everyday access
Muse Charm is positioned as an alternative for people who want direct AI access without relying on smart glasses or a phone screen. The device could support conversational assistance and help users share what is happening around them through voice-led interaction.
Meta plans to finalize the hardware design before shipping Muse Charm, with availability targeted for the December holiday period. By bringing AI into a small, expressive object, the concept points toward a future where digital assistants may become more ambient, personal and seamlessly present in daily routines.
