Meta has expanded its consumer AI strategy with the launch of a dedicated Muse app for iPad, arriving roughly one month after the assistant debuted on mobile devices.
The app is designed to help users organize everyday digital tasks through a single AI-powered interface. Muse can connect with selected accounts to support activities such as managing emails, tracking meetings and bills, setting goals, booking reservations, ordering groceries and completing purchases.
More tools for work and daily planning
With the iPad release, Meta has broadened Muse's collection of optional connectors. Users can choose which services they want to link, maintaining control over the areas of their digital lives handled by the assistant.
New integrations include productivity and business platforms such as Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo, Zoom, Notion and Granola. Meta has also introduced tools designed for managing Meta advertising accounts.
Muse is also expanding into retail experiences through partnerships with major shopping platforms. These connections aim to let the assistant navigate product searches and transactions on a user's behalf, creating a more streamlined path from planning to purchase.
An emerging standard for AI agents
Meta is working with industry partners on an open technical standard that could help personal AI agents identify themselves clearly when interacting with businesses online. The initiative is intended to support more reliable communication between legitimate digital assistants and commercial platforms.
The iPad launch signals Meta's ambition to make AI agents a practical layer across work, planning and shopping. As these tools gain broader integrations, personal AI could become a more natural part of everyday digital routines.
