He also pointed to messaging platforms such as WhatsApp as a natural home for these tools, noting that users already interact with Meta AI there at scale.
The broader tech industry is moving in the same direction. Google is expanding custom AI agents in search, while Anthropic's Claude tools are gaining momentum among developers. The shift reflects a growing focus on AI systems that do more than answer questions -- they are designed to take action.
