Who says parking garages are merely functional spaces? British artist and color enthusiast Liz West has reimagined a floor of a conventional concrete parking structure into a vibrant and immersive environment, perfect for skating, dancing, or simply enjoying a spectrum of colors.

Her installation, titled "Our Colour," involves the creative use of pigmented theatre gels to cover hundreds of lights within the Cabot Circus Car Park. Stripped of its usual vehicular traffic, this area now serves as a blank canvas for West's exploration of how color can be experienced in a tangible and engaging manner.

West poses thought-provoking questions about color perception, asking, "Does color change the way you feel? What does it feel like to be inside a rainbow?" She aims to invite visitors to immerse themselves in the colorful atmosphere and reflect on their individual experiences with color.

This temporary installation is part of the ongoing Bristol Light Festival, which runs until February 28. Visitors can explore West's latest endeavors and artistic expressions through her social media platforms.
