Levoit has introduced the Vital Pet Pro, an air purifier developed for homes where pet hair, dander and everyday odors are part of the routine. Priced at $189.99, the device combines targeted filtration with automated maintenance features designed to simplify indoor air care.
Three layers of filtration
The purifier uses a washable pre-filter to capture larger particles such as fur, followed by a main filter for finer airborne particles and dander. Its activated carbon layer contains 140 grams of activated carbon, aiming to reduce household odors associated with pets.
A U-shaped air inlet is designed to improve airflow while drawing in loose pet hair and particles before they settle on furniture or floors. The system also includes automatic pre-filter cleaning, moving collected debris into a removable tray for easier upkeep.
Adaptive modes for daily routines
Through its companion app, the Vital Pet Pro offers an Auto Plus Mode that monitors changes in air quality and adjusts performance accordingly. Its dedicated Pet Mode runs at high fan speed for 15 minutes to collect particles, then switches to a lower setting for 60 minutes to maintain air quality with reduced noise and energy use.
Instead of a numerical display, the purifier communicates air quality with a simple color system, ranging from red for poorer conditions to cyan for very good air quality. The approach offers a quick, accessible view of changing indoor conditions.
The unit is designed for floor placement and may require more space than compact purifiers. Its fan is audible at maximum output, while lower settings and Sleep Mode support quieter overnight operation.
