Google's next Made by Google event is set for Wednesday, Aug. 12 in New York, and attention is already turning to the Pixel 11 lineup. Based on official teasers and industry leaks, the company is preparing a broad hardware refresh across phones, wearables and accessories.
What may arrive at the event
The Pixel 11 family is expected to include four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Early design previews suggest Google is keeping its familiar camera-bar look, while adding a new rear lighting feature reportedly called HiLight, designed to signal Gemini chats and priority notifications.
Under the hood, reports point to a Tensor G6 chip built on a 2-nanometer process, which could improve efficiency even if raw speed gains are modest. A new modem is also expected, with the goal of delivering stronger and more reliable 5G performance. Memory options may reach 16GB RAM, while storage could start at 256GB.
Camera hardware is rumored to remain close to last year's setup, with triple-lens systems across the lineup. Battery sizes are also expected to stay in a similar range, with only minor adjustments by model.
Pricing leaks suggest the Pixel 11 could start at $899, the Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099, the Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold at $1,899. That would place the new series slightly above the Pixel 10 generation.
Google may also expand its wearable and accessory ecosystem. The Pixel Watch 5 is tipped to arrive in 41 mm and 45 mm versions, with modest battery improvements and a starting price of $399. In addition, the long-rumored Pixel Tag could debut as Google's own Bluetooth tracker, built to help users locate everyday items through the company's Find My system.
If these expectations hold, the event could mark a more connected Pixel ecosystem, where devices work together with greater intelligence and convenience in the years ahead.
