Glow launches with $1.2B valuation to redefine endpoint security for the AI era

Cybersecurity startup Glow has stepped out of stealth with a $1.2 billion valuation after raising $180 million in an all-equity Series A round. The Palo Alto-based company is positioning itself at the center of a fast-changing security landscape shaped by AI.

Backed by investors including Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint Ventures, Glow is building an endpoint security platform designed to help enterprises manage the software, AI agents, and developer tools running on employee devices.

Founded in 2025 by former leaders from Meta, Snowflake, and Claroty, the company says its system uses specialized AI agents to continuously map enterprise environments, evaluate risk in real time, and apply security policies before threats spread.

Glow says its platform is already in use across sectors such as healthcare, retail, and financial services. The company also reports that its technology has blocked malicious npm packages, flagged risky AI agents, and identified devices where security tools were missing or weakened.

To power its service, Glow combines models from Anthropic and Google Gemini through Amazon Bedrock with its own software layer, aiming to make AI-driven security more accurate and context-aware.

In a market led by CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks, Glow is betting on a more preventive model: stopping risky tools and agents before they enter the enterprise environment. As AI becomes a core part of daily work, this approach could help shape the next generation of digital protection.
