Facebook tests AI-powered companion app for creators

Facebook is testing a standalone AI companion app for creators, offering personalized insights, comment support, and daily performance guidance to streamline content growth.

Facebook tests AI-powered companion app for creators

Facebook is reshaping its Creator Studio into a standalone AI companion app built to help creators understand their audience and grow more efficiently on the platform. The new experience is currently being tested with a limited group of creators.

At the center of the app is Facebook's recently introduced AI creator assistant, which offers personalized guidance based on a creator's content style, performance trends, audience engagement, and goals. Instead of manually sorting through dashboards, creators can ask practical questions such as when to post, how comments are trending, or how their audience has changed over time.

The app also adds an AI-supported comment tool that highlights important responses and drafts replies in the creator's own tone. Those drafts can still be edited and approved before publishing, keeping the final voice in the creator's hands.

Each day, users will see a priority feed with key actions such as reviewing recent post performance, tracking progress toward goals, and identifying comments that may need attention. The goal is to make creator workflows faster, clearer, and more intuitive.

The move comes as Meta continues expanding its app ecosystem with new standalone products across Facebook and Instagram. It also reflects the company's broader push to use AI for more efficient product development and creator support.

As AI becomes more deeply embedded in digital creation tools, platforms like Facebook could help shape a more responsive and data-driven future for online storytelling.
