Exciting New Emojis Coming to iPhone with iOS 26.4 Update

Apple's iOS 26.4 update will introduce eight new emojis, including Bigfoot and a distorted face, enhancing user communication and expression on iPhones.

As iPhone users recently updated to the iOS 26.3.1 bug fix, Apple is already gearing up for its next release: iOS 26.4, which is currently in beta testing. This upcoming update promises a variety of new features, including AI-generated playlists for Apple Music and enhanced end-to-end encryption for RCS messaging. However, one of the most anticipated aspects of this update is the introduction of eight fresh emojis that are sure to delight users.

These new emojis are derived from Unicode Version 17.0, which was launched on September 9, 2025. While Apple is responsible for creating their unique designs, the foundation comes from the latest emoji standards set by Unicode. Notably, Google also unveiled its version of the Unicode 17 emojis on the same day.

  • Fight Cloud: A playful representation that evokes the imagery of a cartoonish brawl.

  • Ballet Dancer: An elegant dancer poised on one foot, capturing the grace of ballet.

  • Orca: A striking depiction of a killer whale, filling a long-awaited gap in the emoji library.

  • Hairy Creature: An emoji representation of Bigfoot, adding a fun twist to conversations.

  • Trombone: A straightforward illustration of the musical instrument.

  • Landslide: A rocky emoji showcasing a large stone with smaller rocks tumbling down its side.

  • Treasure Chest: A detailed emoji bursting open to reveal a crown, gold coins, rubies, and a pearl necklace, perfect for expressing excitement.

Unless there are any last-minute changes, these emojis are expected to debut with the iOS 26.4 update. Although a specific release date has yet to be announced, based on previous trends, users can anticipate these new emojis appearing on their devices before April.
