Eater World's Fare Brings Global Flavors to New York

Eater is set to host Eater World's Fare, a one-day culinary gathering in New York City designed to celebrate food, culture, and the energy of international soccer. The event takes place on July 18 at Pier 36, bringing together chefs, restaurants, and interactive tastings in a family-friendly format.

Inspired by the spirit of historic world fairs, the experience highlights how cuisine can connect communities across borders. According to Eater Editor-in-Chief Stephanie Wu, the concept was created to unite food and sports while reflecting the city's diverse identity at a moment when global attention is on New York.

General admission starts at $30 and includes access to more than 30 dishes from well-known names such as Golden Diner, Mokbar, Caffe Panna, Win Son Bakery, Charles Pan Fried Chicken, Banh Anh Em, and Sally's Apizza. Guests will also receive more than 10 complimentary bites alongside branded activations from partners including Cathay Pacific, Square, Maruchan, Milagro Tequila, Dole, San Pellegrino, Edible Arrangements, Lifeway Kefir, and Manhattan Beer.

A limited VIP tier adds entry to an exclusive lounge hosted by Cathay Pacific, featuring culinary creations from Dominique Ansel, South Philly Barbacoa, Sushi Noz, and the José Andrés Group's Mercado Little Spain. Additional themed areas will spotlight Hong Kong-inspired flavors, ramen-focused pop-ups, local NYC businesses, tropical fruit offerings, and playful food experiences tied to the event's global theme.

Tickets are available now, and the event aims to turn a major sports moment into a vibrant celebration of shared tastes and cultural exchange. It points toward a future where food events become even more immersive, community-driven, and globally connected.
