Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair Set to Return This Spring

The Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair returns to Powerhouse Arts this spring, showcasing fine art printmaking through exhibitions, programs, and community engagement.

Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair Set to Return This Spring

The highly anticipated Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair is making its return to Powerhouse Arts in Gowanus from April 9 to 12, 2026. Following a successful inaugural event last year, this fair is dedicated exclusively to the vibrant world of fine art printmaking, showcasing the work of galleries, studios, academic programs, and independent artists.

This year, a significant highlight will be the inclusion of a juried national print exhibition organized by the MGC Community Print Studio, formerly known as the Manhattan Graphics Center. This exhibition, located in the Small Hall of Powerhouse Arts, will celebrate contemporary printmaking and coincide with the studio's 40th anniversary. By adding this curated exhibition, the fair aims to enhance its commercial offerings while reinforcing its dedication to accessibility and professional growth within the printmaking community.

Academic participation is expanding, with printmaking departments from various institutions across the United States joining forces with returning programs from New York. The fair aspires to become a hub for education, production, and engagement, positioning Brooklyn as a dynamic center for contemporary print exchange.

Public programming will be a key feature of the event, offering attendees a chance to engage in talks, demonstrations, guided booth tours, and community-oriented activities. These initiatives are designed to deepen the understanding of printmaking and foster dialogue among artists, exhibitors, collectors, and the general public. Additionally, social programming will facilitate connections between exhibitors and attendees throughout the weekend.

Set within the lively atmosphere of Powerhouse Arts, the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair emphasizes collaboration and material knowledge, creating an environment that celebrates the art of printmaking and the creative process.
