Personal AI company Bee has introduced two new devices designed to turn everyday conversations into useful notes and reminders. The Bee Frontier can be worn on the wrist or pinned to clothing, while the card-sized Bee Eclipse attaches magnetically to a smartphone.
The Frontier costs $74.99 and comes in Onyx, Lavender, and Sage. The Eclipse is priced at $99.99 and will be offered in Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush. The Frontier is available now, with the Eclipse set to follow.
From conversations to next steps
Bee devices can create summaries and recaps, identify follow-up tasks, and help users remember details such as agreed meeting times. They can also support note-taking in settings like classes or appointments. Both devices have a single power button and an indicator light that signals when a conversation is being summarized.
The Frontier adds IP67 water resistance, up to seven days of battery life, USB-C charging, and dual microphones with noise filtering. The devices work with a redesigned mobile app and a new desktop app, and can connect with tools including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook to help draft emails and schedule meetings.
Conversation summaries and recaps are available at no cost, with 14 days of memory. A Bee Pro subscription, priced at $11.99 per month, adds unlimited summaries, suggested tasks, a personal chat assistant, and integrations with Amazon services and other applications.
Bee says audio is processed in real time and deleted, while transcripts are encrypted with keys controlled by the user. Connecting to Alexa for voice recognition is optional, and users can delete transcripts and summaries.
By translating spoken plans into practical reminders and tasks, personal AI devices like these could make everyday coordination more seamless--provided users remain in control of their information.
