Apple has introduced a refreshed Mac Mini powered by its new M6 chip, bringing a notable leap in compact desktop performance. The base version starts at $899 and includes 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
The company says the M6 model delivers 4x stronger AI performance than the M4 version, while storage and graphics speed are each twice as fast. It also features a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, marking a clear step up from the previous generation.
Apple is also offering a Mac Mini with the M5 Pro chip. That configuration begins at $1,699 and comes with 512GB of storage and 24GB of RAM. The standard M5 Pro setup includes a 15-core CPU and 16-core GPU, with higher-end options available for users who need more power.
Both models support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, with an optional 10Gb upgrade. They will ship on September 22 with macOS 27 and Siri AI support.
Apple also expanded its desktop lineup with new Mac Studio models powered by the M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, starting at $2,499 and $5,499. With stronger processors and broader AI readiness, the new generation of Macs points toward a more capable and connected creative future.
