Apple has refreshed its back-to-school promotion, giving eligible buyers a gift card when they choose select Mac and iPad models for study or work. The biggest reward is a $150 Apple Gift Card with the MacBook Pro, while the MacBook Air, iPad Air, and iPad Pro qualify for a $100 card.
The offer is available only for purchases made directly through Apple, and it can be especially appealing for students and education customers because it may combine with Apple's existing education pricing. The gift card can later be used for Apple devices, accessories, apps, and services such as Apple Music or iCloud+ storage.
Eligible devices and timing
Included models cover the MacBook Air 13-inch, MacBook Air 15-inch, MacBook Pro 14-inch, MacBook Pro 16-inch, iPad Air 11-inch, iPad Air 13-inch, iPad Pro 11-inch, and iPad Pro 13-inch. Not every Apple computer is part of the campaign: the MacBook Neo, iPad mini, 11th-generation iPad, and desktop Macs are excluded.
Apple has also extended the promotion window, giving shoppers more time to decide before the offer ends on September 24. That longer schedule may help students and families compare screen sizes, performance levels, and budget options before making a choice.
To qualify, customers must meet Apple's education criteria, which include higher-education students, newly accepted students, faculty, staff, parents buying for eligible students, and K-12 employees. Verification through UNiDAYS is required.
For students preparing a new academic year, this promotion adds flexibility to Apple's hardware lineup and may shape how education-focused tech bundles evolve in the future.
