The timing is notable for shoppers comparing current prices with last month's levels, as the promotion can help offset recent increases on several Apple products. Who can qualify
Apple says the offer is available to current or newly accepted higher-education students, faculty and staff at higher-education institutions, parents buying for eligible students, and employees of K-12 institutions. Verification is handled through UNiDAYS, the platform Apple uses for education eligibility checks.
Not every device is included: the MacBook Neo, iPad mini, standard iPad, and desktop Macs are excluded from the promotion. The offer remains available through August 27, 2026.
