Apple's AI Vision Puts the iPhone at the Center

Apple CEO John Ternus says the iPhone is the best AI device, highlighting Apple Intelligence, privacy, and a seamless intelligent hub experience.

Apple's AI Vision Puts the iPhone at the Center

Apple's new CEO John Ternus used the company's latest event in Cupertino to outline a clear AI direction: the iPhone remains Apple's most capable device for the next wave of intelligent features.

Rather than introducing a separate gadget built only for AI, Apple is positioning the iPhone as an all-in-one intelligent personal hub that can support on-device processing, cloud access, and seamless use across apps and services.

Ternus described the ideal AI device as something that stays close to the user, understands personal context, and combines strong performance with a large display, advanced cameras, quality microphones, and long battery life. He also stressed simplicity, saying the experience should feel natural and connected across the Apple ecosystem.

Privacy was another key theme. Ternus said Apple's approach is built around keeping user data under control and processing information on device whenever possible through Apple Intelligence. That stance reflects Apple's effort to make AI feel useful, personal, and secure at the same time.

With this strategy, Apple is signaling that the future of AI may not depend on a new form factor, but on making the smartphone smarter, more intuitive, and more deeply integrated into daily life.
