Apple's newest smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 12, is available at a reduced price during October Prime Day. The model, which launched with a starting price of $399, is currently listed from $349, representing a $50 reduction for eligible configurations.
Wearable intelligence and everyday health tools
The Series 12 is powered by Apple's S11 chip, designed to support responsive on-device features, Siri capabilities and Apple Intelligence tools. The watch also introduces Audio Intelligence, a feature intended to provide a short text recap of recent in-person speech.
For wellness tracking, the device includes an updated heart-rate sensor that can measure pulse data every five seconds. It also offers sleep, workout and activity tracking features designed to help users build a more continuous view of daily habits.
Apple rates the Series 12 for up to 24 hours of battery life per charge. Its Ceramic Shield 2 display is built to offer improved durability against everyday scratches and impacts, while maintaining the familiar compact smartwatch design.
A lower-cost Apple Watch option
October Prime Day also includes a lower entry price for the Apple Watch SE 3, starting at $199. While it does not include the Series 12's newest sensor and intelligence additions, it supports core functions including heart-rate tracking, sleep monitoring, fitness data, messaging and optional cellular connectivity.
The offers illustrate how premium wearable technology is becoming more accessible across different price levels. As smartwatches gain more advanced sensing and personalized software, they may play a larger role in helping people understand their everyday health, movement and communication patterns.
