Apple's Vision Pro hardware chief Paul Meade is reportedly set to join OpenAI, where he will contribute to the company's growing hardware ambitions, according to reporting cited by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Meade is also said to have overseen Apple's work on AI-focused smart glasses, a product line expected to play a bigger role in the company's wearable strategy. While Vision Pro has not become a mass-market breakout, Apple appears to be shifting attention toward lighter and more accessible glasses that could strengthen its position in the next wave of personal devices.
