Apple MacBook Pro Models See Major October Prime Day Price Drops

October Prime Day has brought notable price reductions to Apple's MacBook Pro lineup, creating fresh options for creators, professionals and students seeking high-performance laptops.

M5 MacBook Pro joins the offers

The 14-inch MacBook Pro with Apple's M5 chip is listed with a discount of up to $160 from its standard $1,999 price. The configuration includes 16GB of unified memory, 1TB storage, a 14.2-inch mini-LED display, three USB-C ports, HDMI, an SD card slot and a 12MP camera.

For users who work with demanding creative software, coding projects or advanced multitasking, M5 Pro and M5 Max versions are also included in the event. These systems bring higher CPU and GPU core counts, expanded memory capacities and larger storage options.

More power-focused configurations

The 14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro, equipped with a 15-core CPU, 16-core GPU, 24GB of memory and 1TB storage, is discounted to $2,345, down from $2,499. It also adds Wi-Fi 7 support for next-generation wireless connectivity.

Selected 14-inch and 16-inch M5 Pro and M5 Max configurations have reductions ranging from about $150 to $500. Higher-tier models pair up to 48GB of unified memory with 2TB storage, targeting workflows such as video post-production, 3D design and AI-assisted development.

The 16-inch M5 Pro model offers a larger workspace while retaining the MacBook Pro's port selection and display technology. Prices and available configurations may vary during the two-day shopping event.

As premium computing hardware becomes more accessible through seasonal offers, more people may gain the tools to create, learn and build ambitious digital projects.
