Apple has updated prices across several product lines, including Mac, iPad, and select smart home devices, as the global memory market continues to tighten amid the AI infrastructure boom. For now, iPhone pricing remains unchanged.
The refreshed Mac lineup now starts higher across key models: the MacBook Neo is priced at $699, the MacBook Air at $1,299, the MacBook Pro at $1,999, and the Mac Studio at $2,499. iPad buyers will also see new pricing, with the iPad Air set at $749 and the iPad Pro at $1,199.
Apple's home products have followed the same trend. The standard HomePod now costs $349, the HomePod mini $129, and the Apple TV box $129. The company said the pressure comes from a sharp rise in demand for memory and storage components, driven largely by the rapid expansion of AI data centers.
Industry analysts note that memory costs have climbed quickly in recent months, reshaping pricing strategies across consumer electronics. Apple has so far kept iPhone prices steady, but the company has indicated that further adjustments may be considered later in the year if supply conditions remain tight.
As AI continues to reshape hardware economics, premium devices may become even more central to product strategy, signaling a future where component supply plays a bigger role in everyday tech pricing.
