Anthropic has expanded its Claude for Startups program to help early-stage companies build, test and scale AI-powered products with lower entry costs.
Eligible startups can receive one year of Claude Team at no cost, including up to five premium user seats. The program also provides $1,000 in API credits, enabling teams to integrate Claude's AI capabilities into their own applications and services.
Tools and expert support for emerging builders
Participants gain access to the Claude Marketplace, where they can create plugins for the platform. Startups will also be able to schedule virtual office hours with Anthropic's Applied AI team, offering practical guidance on product development and implementation.
The initiative is open to companies founded within the past five years or those that have secured funding during the last two years. Anthropic says the program reflects its view that AI's broadest value will emerge through the businesses creating useful products on top of advanced models.
By combining model access, development credits and expert support, the program could help more founders turn experimental AI ideas into practical tools for work, creativity and everyday life.
