The Anker Soundcore Nebula P1 portable projector is currently available for $639, down from its regular price of $799, marking its lowest price to date. This innovative device features a hinge-based design that allows users to easily adjust the projector head, making it simpler to align the image with your wall or screen without the hassle of moving furniture or stacking items.

One of the standout features of the Nebula P1 is its detachable speakers, each delivering 10W of sound. This arrangement allows for a more immersive audio experience by positioning the speakers closer to the viewer, enhancing the overall soundstage. The projector offers a straightforward port selection, including HDMI 2.1, USB-A, AUX, and USB-C for power, accommodating various devices like consoles, laptops, or streaming sticks.

Running on Google TV, the Nebula P1 comes with a remote that includes a built-in microphone and quick access buttons for popular streaming services such as YouTube, Netflix, and Prime Video, facilitating a smooth transition between apps. However, it's important to note that the projector lacks an internal battery, which limits its portability for outdoor use or in different rooms, as an external power source is required.

In terms of picture quality, the projector boasts a brightness of 650 ANSI lumens, which performs optimally in dimly lit environments where colors appear vibrant and bright scenes are adequately illuminated. However, in well-lit areas, the image quality may diminish. The Nebula P1 supports 1080p resolution through pixel-shifting technology, providing a sharp display for most content, although fine text may occasionally appear slightly blurred.

Setup is primarily automated, featuring auto keystone and focus adjustments at startup. Nevertheless, some advanced features, such as screen fitting and obstacle avoidance, require the Nebula app, which may not offer the seamless experience of fully automatic systems.

As technology continues to evolve, portable projectors like the Anker Soundcore Nebula P1 are paving the way for more accessible and flexible home entertainment solutions, potentially transforming how we consume media in the future.
